I bring mindfulness, authenticity, compassion, movement, and play into my
work with you, your child, and family as a way to learn skills to reconnect
with each other and experience more peace. I believe relationships are the
focus in helping you and your family.
I have a Master’s degree in Social Work and am licensed in Kansas and
Missouri (LMSW). I am a certified play therapist and certified in mindfulness. I have 7 years experience offering individual, child
and family therapy.
I teach mindfulness to my counseling clients, mental health practitioners (at KU's Professional and Continuing Education and Heartland Play Therapy Institute), and consult with educators in elementary and middle schools to create and
deliver a mindfulness curriculum.
I have 20 years experience as an executive coach and can offer additional insights into workplace stressers especially to those in a leadership role.
I am active in the mental health community as a Member of Association for Play Therapy (APT), National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (KAIMH).
